- custom properties on emails that are searchable (for custom workflows)

relatively small features that can add a lot of power.

But then again, if there would be an api for extensions that would probably not be that necessary...

Super, SUPER want this feature to be added. It increases the usability of email tenfold.

Came to my mind right now. I was getting email from different people for the price inquiry, I didn't want to go to another note book, so I thought better to have a private note per email.

I'd ideally like these exposed via CalDAV as tasks, too.

Great idea, it will allow us to track the subjects, and we can use proton mail as a ticket system (rudimentary):

Yes, this would be a very valuable feature. I just tried searching for something in an older email. It wasn't found, which was very annoying. However, if I was able to attach a private searchable note to the email, then it would make searching far more useful. As it is, the search feature is useless for me. I can't rely on it. I need to be able to add my own reference search info. Please consider this as a very valuable addition! Thanks.
