Autofill Location for Events
Some calendars like iOS and Gmail have a location feature that as you type the name of a place, the address (or addresses) appear and allow you to select it. I would like to see this as a feature; I think it would be a great improvement to how selecting a location works now. Now, you have to click the place or link after an event has been added and it will open either Maps, Google Maps, or Waze to ask which place is the correct one you're looking for.

Government schools often face challenges such as different learning levels among students, limited access to digital resources, and difficulties in tracking individual progress. Mission Prerna addresses these issues by providing structured learning approaches, teacher guidance, and digital monitoring systems. The initiative helps create a more consistent education process where students receive support according to their learning needs. By identifying gaps earlier, schools can take better steps to improve educational outcomes. https://prernapoortal.com/

Technology plays an important role in making education systems more organized and data-driven. Mission Prerna uses digital platforms to support teachers, monitor learning activities, and maintain education-related information. Online dashboards, digital resources, and progress tracking systems help education officials and teachers understand student performance more effectively. By using technology in classrooms and administration, the initiative reduces dependence on manual processes and creates better visibility into learning outcomes. https://prernapoortal.com/

I just found out this problem today... I'm wonder if I need to move to another calendar solution. I moved to the email, but calendar doesn't seem good as the email.

Absurd that this functionality wasn't included from the beginning. Can't get my family to bring the shared calendar to proton because of this. And even though Proton finally has a Google sheets replacement I still have to keep my business with Google because of this lack of address autofill.

I agree with all the previous comments. Proton Calendar (web or app) doesn't necessarily need to know our location, but should auto-populate based on map/address cloud database and/or previously used addresses.

Calendar needs MORE LOVE! Location feature parity with other providers is critical for usability.

When filling out an event in Google or Apple calendars, the location of the event autofills into the calendar events. that is an extremely convenient and valuable feature especially when the calendar syncs to a car and the location then autosyncs to the car GPS navigation. The similar “location” line in events for Proton does absolutely nothing at all and is entirely pointless as-is. But for this single omission is the only reason I never use Proton Calendar.

Don’t know why Proton cannot do this; as has been requested by clientele for literally years now. I never use Proton Calendar but for this single omission.

This should be a critical and easy fix

In proton calendar, when creating a new event, in the 'location' field, when entering a location, the app does not propose any address. In iOS calendar app or google calendar, when creating an event, locations are automatically proposed.

It would be great if Proton Calendar could suggest previously used locations for calendar entries when you start typing something in the location field. For example, if I have previous calendar entries at ABC Movie Theatre, and start typing in ABC, it would then suggest the location I'd previously use, so it could autofill the rest of the location name, address, etc.
