Separate mail and calendar into different apps
add a separate proton calendar icon to the Proton mail/calendar app, so you can directly open the calendar without opening the mail app.
for example the ms mail and calendar app is one app but it behaves as a mail and a separate calendar app.

Please add this feature to the Mac OS desktop app, also.

I am using a Mac and this is super important or I cannot use it.

Allow me to open both Mail and Calendar in separate windows. Currently, it seems that only one window can be open, and either Mail or Calendar can be shown. I want to be able to see both at the same time.
Also, it would be great if I could also have contacts be simultaneously visible.

Windows Calendar app should be a standalone app. This will allow a device that only needs Calendar access to not have mail access and make Calendar access more efficient.

Email and calendar are two different features that can be used independently and thus should have their own apps
Please split the two apps (on macOS) as they are on iOS for example

On the Windows desktop, I'd like to be able to open Mail in one window and Calendar in another window, so I can toggle between them without losing anything I'm doing -- e.g., without having to minimize a new email or close an event. Each window would appear separately in the Taskbar (ideally with distinct icons, but identical icons would be better than nothing).
Currently, I'm faking this by installing both the current and beta versions, and using one for calendar & the other for email.
