I'm more for "the simpler the better" in most cases, but I've tried an Eisenhower Matrix feature on some to-do lists, and now I would find it hard to use a to-do list without one. That being said, it is pretty critical that Proton provide it's own version of a to-do list, and I would put up with a lot in the meantime just to have a simple, working, Proton-provided E2EE to-do list in the near future than have to risk Google or Microsoft giving away my cloud-synced data to governments and hackers.

YES absolutely, this would be amazing! A to-do list with checklists would help everyone stay organized and track tasks. It would also benefit people with ADHD and autism, as checklists help ADHDers and support autistic individuals in managing ‘next steps.’ Each calendar entry should have a checklist directly under the description to add and check off items.

This would be a game changer

Great idea. Back in the day, I used MS To-Do, but, well, ya know, Microsoft. But it had a nice feature where you could create primary to-do items, then sub-items beneath, and you could check off each as you completed them. I feel this sort of thing is critical to a decent Calendar app.

Yeah I miss that so much! Please add this and I will stop use google calendar. I need to be very organized and schedlued for my job and tasks in calendar really helps me.
And if there be some option to share someone calendars, like my friend google calendar which he want to shere with me, to my Proton calendar that would be amazing!

The possibility to create a Task in Google Calendar is the only thing missing from Proton Calendar that makes me continue to use Google as my primary calendar. I am eagerly awaiting this feature!!!

Instead of a to-do add rich text support in the notes section with checkbox as an option.
