Another vote for a watch based Proton Mail app. I have the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and it is frustrating not being able to check the emails message body on it. I leave my phone at home sometimes and rely on my watch's LTE and it means that I am without email, effectively. Even a simple app to just read the email would be a start so I can know whether the email needs to be dealt with urgently.

This would be a great differentiator between other encrypted mail providers. Doesn't seem like anyone else is doing it either, so why not be the first to do it well?

And as a Visionary Member from years ago, privacy on the wrist belongs to everyone who chooses Proton — let's close that gap!

My watch is often on my wrist when my phone isn't in my hand, and being able to glance at my day's agenda, receive event notifications, and respond to invitations directly from the watch face is something I take for granted with Apple Calendar but can't do with Proton Calendar.

I coordinate family schedules, work schedules, and small group meetings through Proton Calendar, and a watch complication showing my next event would be a game-changer. Apple Watch has excellent support for calendar complications and widgets — Proton would fit naturally into that interface.

The 2025 roadmap mentioned a next-generation Calendar app for iOS. Whether Watch support ships with that or as a follow-up, please add it to the plan. For those of us who've chosen Proton as a true privacy-first replacement for Google/Apple services, having the watch experience is what makes it feel like a complete ecosystem rather than a partial one.

Friends, this post is from 2017... It's been nearly 10 years but there's been no movement on creating an apple watch app for mail or calendar apps. Surely the PM userbase has grown significantly in the last year or two... This should really be a priority, please.

Proton Mail and Proton Calendar application for Apple Watch OS would be a big upgrade to keep up with the infrastructure. I don't know if it's working on Samsung watches or other Android wearables but it also should if not.

This is a really important. The thing I use my Apple Watch the most to do is check my events. I can't really use Proton Calendar until they add support for the watch.

Gibt es im Jahr 2026 hierzu etwas neues? Es wäre super zumindest Termine vom Kalender zu erhalten und mehr als nur den Email-Titel von Benachrichtigungen lesen zu können.
Ohne Proton auf der Uhr machen LTE-Versionen von Uhren wenig Sinn, da kaum auf das Handy verzichtet werden kann ohne wichtiges zu verpassen!

Definitely needed. WearOS smartwstches use Google Calendar as a default. The mission of the Proton ecosystem should be replacing these default app settings in essential life situations. This includes devices such as smart watches.

I would *love* to see this become a feature! With the ever growing smartwatch space this would be a huge win to even remove the ability to using shared links to a calendar

Many parents give their children smart watches to avoid having them have smart phones with all the distractions that come with those. A Proton calendar compatible with those watches would enable families to move fully to Proton. Currently families are stuck keeping other calendar solutions.

This is the one thing keeping me from switching to Proton Calendar. I'd really like to leave Apple and Google behind. Please add support for this soon!
