Allow UI zoom for desktop application
As a user, I want to be able to zoom into and out of the reading pane, so I can more easily see the text of my emails.
Rationale: Presently, the application seems to default to desktop resolution but the UI and text are very small and I cannot increase them. Being older and having poor eyesight, this makes it very difficult to use the desktop application. In contrast, using the webmail interface, you can easily increase the zoom as needed to make things readable.

It would make the apps so much easier if I could zoom in on text the way I can in the gmail apps, for example, or honestly most apps I use! Sometimes the text is just way too small, and system settings don't change that.

Zoom emails - I can't read the font is so small and none of the traditional methods to zoom in work and I end up copying it to a doc editor just so I can read it...Please allow emails to be zoomed...thanks

This is super important. I have the font set to the standard 12 point size and it's almost microscopic. There NEEDS to be a way to view the text at a reasonable size without composing emails in 26 point font which would greatly annoy anyone receiving them.
I'm using the proton mail app on windows.

Most email programs allow a user to increase or decrease the text size of an email When it's in the preview or reading pane. But it doesn't seem as if the desktop app allows this. Especially when you've got a large monitor set up it's important to be able to increase font size for readability.

Yes! I need this! The protonmail APP (desktop on windows) shows emails that are so small. How can I read the text if someone sends me an email with a small fontsize?

In the browser for Proton Mail I prefer to use a 90% view size to see everything better, as well as in Proton Calendar, where I use e.g. a 70% view to see more events and more text that would otherwise be hidden.
