Thunderbird native support
It would be nice that you support Thunderbird natively, not with Proton Bridges, maybe with a plugin
I'd like also native support for Thunderbird for Android

Thunderbird is my favorite mostly because each email account is color coded, and I won't miss a message because it has a widget that shows the meassages.
The Proton mobile app has neither, and while it would be great with those features, I don't want to be ensnared by yet another service. -

I think this is necessary. The Proton Mail desktop and mobile apps are just not there yet in comparison to more fully featured mail clients.
Proton Bridge is great for addressing this on desktops, but Proton users should also have the option to do this on mobile devices as well.

I pay for Proton VPN already. Why should I have to pay more just to use this mail client in a non-browser environment?
Also, +1 for a plugin. That way thunderbird could ship it and it would be an easy process to install the plugin to get things working. I already manage a bunch of gmail accounts with thunderbird with separate calendars and contacts.

ça me semble indispensable de pouvoir utiliser Thunderbird sur android comme on l'utilise sur ordinateur.

I didn't know much about it, but I was very disappointed after I realized after the billing that I couldn't use proton mail on the android version of Thunderbird.
I really need to use multiple email services for work and I don't want to have another different email app in my android.
Another really useful feature is that Thunderbird allows me to share the same settings on the mobile version as on the desktop version. I would be very happy if this worked with my Proton Mail account. Please please please please please.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

i agree. honestly having to open browser to check emails are rather time consuming and inconvenient. even some other services would allow people to do that, so i think it's the best to get proton mail accessible everywhere. the only things to be profitable, in my opinion, should be storage upgrades or enhanced email options.
so in conclusion i would love if they open out their smtp/pop3/imp addresses so that the service could be used in any email client. really.
