How can we improve Proton Mail or Calendar?

Make speed of applying filters to existing messages not PAINFULLY SLOW.

When creating or modifying a filter and selecting the option to apply the filter to existing messages, the user is met with "Message actions in progress. This may take a while." when viewing the target folder for an extendended lenght of time. Please figure out a way to improve the speed of this operation.

    And a progress bar would be nice. Currently, it takes anywhere from a day to a week. This is very annoying.

    There's a "message actions in progress" feedback message?! In the nine years I've been a subscriber, I've never known this feature ("apply to existing messages") to work at all. Good to know something's supposed to happen. :)
