Display folders ontop for ease of access + splitting up additional addresses
Folders are nice and all, but almost every email provider I've tried before proton has an easier way to go between folders and view labels and the like. Being able to have a folder set up at the top of the inbox would make the fact that additional addresses are forced into the same inbox a little easier because then I could have each email as a separate folder on the top of my email inbox, and then could use sub folders and labels to force separate each email.
as it currently stands I'm highly considering deleting all my proton emails because the lack of features and everything being forced into one inbox/sent box/etc is super frustrating, and I find the interface not as accessible as prior platforms... I had hoped it'd be like other sites where they'd be sub accounts easily clicked between without needing to change accounts, but I was wrong.

I would also like this - I have multiple email addresses under one account. Various filters sort emails into folders, and label them, depending on the address it comes into. These folders effectively become their own inboxes for each of their accounts. This means that the actual inbox is always empty as all emails are moved as they come in.
It would be great if I could move my folders up to the same level as the inbox.
Even better would be the ability to create folders with the inbox as a parent:
- Email comes in @personal.com -> tagged as 'Personal' and moved to 'Personal Inbox' folder
- Email comes in @business.com -> tagged as 'Business and moved to 'Business Inbox' folder
- Click on 'Personal Inbox': See only unarchived personal emails
- Click on 'Business Inbox': See only unarchived business emails
- Click on 'Inbox': See all unarchived, across all subfolders
- Click on 'Personal' Label: See all personal emails
- Click on 'Busines' Label: See all business emails -

Hello,
activating the Proton Business Suite I have 20 mailboxes per users they are not indipendent.
I've tried to organize them with folders and filters but it's not possible to replicate a mailbox feature with predefiniter folders as:
Inbox
Draft
Sent
Deleted
etc etc
The lack of this make very difficult to manage the different addresses and expose to human errors since you have to manually select the from mailbox.
I love proton suite but the lack of this basic feature make impossible for me the complete migration from MS or Google.
Thank you -

Currently, ProtonMail sorts all folders under a folder creatively named "Folders". While this looks nice on the web app (and is a much better solution than GMail using labels for everything), in third-party email clients such as Thunderbird, user-created folders all get thrown under Folders. Visually, this is slightly unappealing. Other email servers simply place folders at the top of the file-tree. This is not really important but is a small detail that would be nice to have.
