Ability to Import Calendar With Recurring Events - When importing calendars (from kids' schools, etc) the ICS fails due to Proton not supporting recurring event import. Incredibly inconvenient.

The function to show contacts birthday in the calendar is missing. Meaning you keep the contacts in Google. When you then import the .ics file from Google, Proton rejects recurring events (i.e. birthdays) starting before 1970-1-1. In other words you can´t import birthdays for contacts older than 55 years old.

I don't know when it was added, but some capability to import recurring events does now exist. The only type of recurrence I don't find on Proton--and which I therefore cannot import--is something like annually on the fourth Thursday of November.
