"Read Aloud" function built into Protonmail
Could we get a read aloud function built into proton mail where emails can be dictated aloud to the user, if this doesn't break the existing security model.
This would act primarily as an accessibility feature for those who blind but also be a useful feature for those utilising emails on the move or receiving newsletters into their inbox that are preferred to be listened to then read.
Thank you,
Chris

It would be great for newsletters. I get some long ones and wish I could let my eyes rest more when having them read for me.

I second this. My business chose Proton as our service provider for Mail, Drive, and Pass (because I've used Proton for around 10 years, and now I get to make the decisions). My partner has been using the Proton Mail Bridge and accessing through Outlook because he's blind. It's the mail client he's use to.
Today I was showing him around Proton Mail (which does generally work well with his accessibility software) but he mentioned that the Read Aloud in Outlook was extremely useful to him. Otherwise he would use the native Proton Mail app exclusively.
I know making software for the blind and visually impaired is not a high priority for most and this improvement request may not gain a lot of votes, but it would be extremely meaningful to the few who need this feature. Perhaps it could somehow be integrated with the Scribe feature?
