Seamless labelling with hotkeys
Make enter apply the label that is highlighted.
A feature from Gmail that I love is that it's super simple to apply labels with keyboard shortcuts; open label dialog, search for a label and press enter. Job done.
Unless I'm doing it wrong, in Proton Mail on web I have to press "L" to get the labels, search for a label and then use tab key + enter or the mouse pointer to actually apply the label. Instead I want the enter key to apply the highlighted label right away after search (while the search input still has focus) for the right label, without having to do extra keystrokes or use the mouse pointer.

I came here to second the request, but also just discovered you can indeed label emails using only the keyboard. The step we were missing was pressing space after tab to select the label we want. Once the label has a tick next to it from pressing space you can then press enter to apply that label.
It's more keystrokes than I would like, but at least it saves us from having to switch to the mouse or trackpad.
It would be even better if you could skip the extra keystrokes to label the first search result by pressing enter straight after typing whatever search text you wanted e.g typing "to" then pressing enter would apply a label called "todo" (assuming nothing else matched "to" before "todo").
