How can we improve Proton Mail or Calendar?

Useless for a desktop user - Can't be used offline

What a letdown when you discover that your desktop app is nothing more than a copy of your website. That you can't make it so that you can check your existing emails and calendar offline is so bad that I can't find words. Then you really should have clear information that your app is only a copy of your website and cannot be used offline.

    Many apps behave that way nowadays. While having a 'working copy' offline on the desktop could definitely be useful, I have a feeling that Proton doesn't want offline instances available to hackers who could use it to start figuring out how their data infrastructure works. Sometimes, you just can't have everything, esp. in a low-trust world that makes services like Proton necessary.
