Block emails by Top-Level Domain
I suggest improving Proton Mail's blocking feature by allowing users to block emails based on top-level domains (TLDs).
Many people fall victim to spam despite themselves. Offering them the ability to block TLDs they are certain they will never communicate with (e.g., *.ru, *.xyz, etc.) can help restore a cleaner inbox for the user, while also avoiding unnecessary storage — both for the user and for Proton.
Since this feature is powerful and could inadvertently block legitimate emails, it should be accompanied by clear and precise explanations to warn and educate the user.

Block by either E-mail, Domain, or TLD.
Since the many (recent) data leaks, we all notice a huge uptick on the amount of e-mails received containing junk or spam, or attempts to phishing.
As I do not send nor expect to receive e-mails from a huge list of top-level domains (TLDs), the ability to block entire TLDs would tremendously help.
Current e-mail and domain blocking options do not cover for the different addresses I receive e-mails from, hence I fully support this suggestion.
Important though that the Allow-list should take precedence over the Block-list to avoid missing e-mails coming from a certain e-mail address or domain.
Next to the already mentioned benefits regarding storage and traffic, the suggested option will also help lowering the chance of falling victim to treacherous e-mails.
