The absence of this feature blocks me from migrating from Google to Proton. Without a Task List integrated into Calendar, Proton is simply not an option. Incredible that this hasn't been addressed in almost 11 years.

I am just switching to Proton and I am also needing a task list. I currently use aCalendar Plus w my Google calendar. Moving away from Google entirely, I imported my Google calendar into Proton, but now I have no way to track my tasks in the same app. I am really disappointed to see that this enhancement request is over 10 years old! It makes sense to have task integrated into your Proton calendar, since so many tasks are DATE based. Thank you!

It would be great to finally have this feature released. I believe that to-do lists are a productivity booster in workplace settings when they are designed smartly. Would be great to get an update on possible implementation plans, or blockers that the team is facing. Would greatly appreciate a realistic estimate. Thanks for all your other hard work and festure releases!

basically the only app I can't replace now is Google Keep.

Even just having a module where you can note down tasks in different category lists , not necessarily connected to Proton Calendar (as I assume that's causing the long timeline), it would be amazing. This is the only feature stopping me from moving completely off the Google Suite, and upgrading to a higher plan with Proton. Could you please communicate a timeline for this, any ambiguous replies only create a lack of transparency and frustration for us customers. Please consider Proton! I see on other webpages/Reddit this has been asked for years, and by hundreds of people 🙏

This is a feature I am really missing in my sovereign stack. I have been using 'tasks.org', as I enjoy the features, but I am not willing to add another subscription in order to sync across devices, which leaves something to be desired.

I very much enjoyed the simplicity of the 'google tasks' app - simple app with 'lists' and 'tasks', which show on the 'google calender' if that task is assigned a date and time - they sit at the top of the calender block its associated with in day/week/month view.

And please I beg you, make more widgets!
Specifically the ability to have a 'list' as a widget (Android) - This adds a high amount of customisability - see other task apps, including google and tasks.org. I was able to make a 'task matrix' on my home screen with this feature on other apps.

-Link tasks to files and project folders saved within Proton Drive.
-Linking 'sub tasks' to individual files can act as a granular project management system.

I really need to de-clutter my calendar, by having a list of "to do's" -- things that are not strictly time sensitive.

I see a Task demand is opened : I'm happy ! Then I see it's 10 years old, then I'm depressed.

tasks would be so convenient just off to the side maybe even its own app for advanced uses

Calendar integration or a standalond app such as Apple Reminders and Google Tasks is a logical next step.

I'm a quite new Proton Duo member and it would really be great to have some kind of task management in Proton so that I could get rid of Google Tasks and Microsoft To Do App.

Possible features:
- multiple task lists
- task due date
- task recurrence
- task reminders
- maybe tag support for filtering tasks accross lists
- integration in the mobile android app (calendar?)
- possibility to add sub-tasks
- add attachments to tasks
- add notes to tasks

It would be awesome if you can create similar application to Apple Reminders (and close integration with Calendar).
Reminders is all I need as functionality and it is the major thing that is miss me in Proton ecosystem.

Yep, absolutely critical for me to make the move entirely off Google and onto Proton, and from Plus to the Premium premium subscription.

I want to switch over from Google, but I can't until this feature is implemented. Once it is available, I would be happy to pay for a premium account.

Incredibly frustrating to see a new road map published with this crucial feature missing from it. It was on the last road map, but still no implementation and now just disappeared. This is a basic piece of calendar functionality. Maybe it is close to being implemented and that's why it has disappeared from the latest road map? But the lack of clarity and the fact this is now a ten year old feature request (!) makes it impossible to know.

A kanban board like jira that integrates with mail and calendar would be sweet, then it would be all in one eco system.
