Email templates
It would be nice if you could store email templates for standard email replies like in MS Outlook

Requested in 2016. *cries* Why is this not a thing yet? Also, I would like my templates saved to/pulled from Proton Drive....

I routinely send the same email with an invoice, or a download link, or payments to vendors. It not only speeds things up to have a template, but it avoids typos and other errors. I really need email templates!

Please bump this up in the development process. I use Protonmail for my business, and having templates would be extremely useful. Thank you!

Please add this feature! It would make life a lot easier using Proton Mail.

I'm using Proton for work and it would be highly appreciated if proton adds templates feature. I hate to use notepad to copy routine emails. This feature would make proton much more convenient than ever before.

Avec de nombreux email à traiter, cette fonction est importante et apporte un gain de temps !!

same! I would LOVE this feature. Right now I'm putting all of my templates in proton drive for my employees to have access to, but it is a pain in the butt compared to Gmail's canned responses.

I use proton mail for my personal and business emails. I send the same email to customers when sending them invoices and it would be nice to be able to pull up a template so I don't have to type out the same email over and over again, or, copy and paste from another program.
If we could have something similar to the email "signature", I guess, where we can have templates, or drafts, saved, then we just have to open, edit and send without having to compose an entirely new email every time.
Thank you in advance for looking into this and I look forward to, hopefully, using a new feature like this in the near future.

This is becoming a more important feature every day as society, technology, businesses and communication evolves every day.

This is a critical feature for business. I have dozens of templates that I use for my clients. So simple to personalize for each to their specific situation than reinventing an email everyday. This is a simple yet imperative feature. Other/lesser email clients have this implemented. I'm surprised after 8 years of being requested PM has not implemented this feature, at least for business accounts.

Come on, this is a very basic thing that really has no additional issues that would prevent such a simple thing from being implemented.
It has nothing to do with the encryption or access issues, which would slow development.
There is no cross product (though that is another thing desperately needed) issues.
It is basically like saving a draft in a special way.
Please, this is very important for business use as well as heavier personal use. Also, include "magic" text functionality, a template without it is almost useless.

I just don't understand why this isn't implemented yet. These are the basics!!

seconding and thirding this. canned responses are necessary for even small businesses (and not everyone wants to sue zendesk)

I don't know if this would make a template option easier, a work around I have used on my gmail (yuck) is being able to create multiple signatures with a "template" formatted as needed.

Be able to create Folders (or use Tags) where You create a new message with attachments, signatures, everything but not put the To: in there and save it as a template (think of it like a Draft but when you select the Template email, you have the option to continue to edit and save, and/or Send a Copy and when you click that button... it as if you created a new message, and typed and attached everying but have not added TO: person yet. You just add recipient, and send ... and unlike the Draft folder, it does not delete the Template from the Template Folder / Tag. This implementation would add a lot of value to how I use Proton\ Mail.
