I agree wholeheartedly with this request. This is a feature I use often in my business.

I need this for my wife and me, and later for my family.
Right now we're using a shared mailbox and the workflow is really awkward.

I am using protonmail for business purposes. As of today will need to mail a group of 30 people regularly. The distribution list function not being available has now become quite an inconvenience. I hope this can be addressed sooner rather than later. It is not a nice to have, but a must have.

For the record, there are several protonmail users in my company so we considered protonmail when we decided to change our mailing system. Without distribution list we just had to rule this option out immediately without even considering the advantages.

In my opinion this is no optional feature if you expect organization to use your service.

We would love to use distribution lists with protonmail!!!!

I was hoping Protonmail had this feature already, but it seems it does not. I was looking for it as part of a plan to have our business domain start using it. It would have been nice to put aliases that never change on a web site and use them as a distribution list so that we can change whom gets those emails as people move in to and out of different roles in the company. Sadly, we will need to go with a different email provider due to not having this functionality.

I'm stunned that this basic functionality doesn't have more votes. Almost every email I send is to family members and I have to start typing each name individually and watch for it to appear so I can select it, over and over again. I avoid adding names to my address book in order to make this process easier which means I continue to use another email service for professional missives and for friends and colleagues.

I need a distribution list! this is insane. Even google.gmail a free service has this feature. C"mon Protonmail!

This is a BASIC functionality that is preventing me from fully moving everything over to ProtonMail. It should have been implemented from the beginning.

When it is implemented, I feel strongly that it cannot be a paid tier service. Again, every competing free email service supports this.

Wow, still no new release after a year asking to be able to create Distribution lists. Is Proton actually reading these or care? How about making your contact list show up with boxes to select when using CC and BCC rather than selecting them 1 by 1. This is my 2nd day using the mail system and it's starting to look like a poorly designed email system that's capable of encryption. I'm just test driving this and if things don't improve, I'll be exiting to another private, secure email system with encryption. So far Protonmail, you get a F. I'm not impressed.

Would like to use PM more frequently than my Gmail account but lack of ability to create distribution lists is a serious impediment to switching over.

Add me to the list of long time users requesting support for externally facing distribution lists. Cannot transfer my primary small business domain over without this capability.

Because of the recent Microsoft incursion into privacy with their products, I was going to upgrade my proton mail, but I cannot use it for my needs without a distribution list. Please tell me it is coming soon.

It's been 1 1/2 years now and we still don't have Distribution Lists, which is a major detraction from a great system. Please make this happen for us who run small businesses.
