Swipe to next/previous email on Android
I think a nice feature to have which is already seen in at least the gmail app on Android is the ability to swipe to the next/previous mail while reading. Say I'm reading my email's and I want to read the next one. The way I have to do this now is by pressing back and then opening the next mail. It would be a lot more comfortable to be able to just swipe from left to right to read the next mail or swipe from right to left to read the previous one.

Totally agree! It’d be awesome to swipe left or right to move between emails while reading, instead of going back and forth to select the next one. It would make things a lot easier and smoother. Hope this feature gets added soon!

This is a potential deal breaker for me, I'm evaluating Proton Mail against other options and this is a very important feature that is lacking.

I actually want to turn that OFF! My problem is that the phone is so sensitive to swiping that when I'm swiping down to read an email that's open, if I deviate even one degree left or right when I'm swiping up or down that it takes me to the previous or next email on the list.

I hope this gets implemented asap. It is very cumbersome and slow to have to go back to the inbox to select the next unread email.

As many have commented:
- It would be nice to have a feature to swipe to next/previous emails while reading. Very common on other apps.
That way you can browse your emails easier.
Thank you!

Hello,
- Could you please make possible navigation between emails (previous - next) with swipe left - right when reading an email?
- Also could you make possible automated action after deleting an email to go to next?
That would make the application much more easier / faster to use.
Thank you!

Agree, browsing emails is really tedious. A quick fix (at least UX-wise, i.e. not requiring to add extra buttons) would be to allow swiping the subject area left or right to browse emails.

This would be a great feature as it has been available on other email platforms. I really miss having this, so much quicker.

I would also like to be able to delete an email while viewing it and not return to the inbox list, but have the next email be available

I would like to have a way, to quickly go through my inbox, looking at the content and with one “action” jumping to the next email.
On mobile, this could be swiping left for the next email and right for the previous one.
On the website, the arrow keys up and down would probably be fitting.

On my mobile (Android) app, I can customize what swipe left/right will do on the first page that lists all my emails, but I don't have a way to tell it what to do when I swipe left/right when I am in an email. There should be a way for me to be able to swipe left to go to the previous email and right to go to the next email. The way it is now, I have to go back to the email list and then open the next email and it feels slow and cumbersome.
