Resize Inline Images
Gmail allows inline images uploaded to be resized, so they are not so huge and graphically fit with the body-text of a message. I'd love to be able to resize and design proportions of email imagery, as it tends to be a significant part of my communications.

How have people been asking for this for years and it's still not done? :(
This is a super-basic feature. -

PLEASE add this - I paid for a year of protonmail for my small business, but this feature alone might be the straw that forces me back to google.
I send a lot of how-tos to my clients and if I have to create a separate attachment every time instead of inline in the email for screen snippets, it's a deal breaker.

Without this ability it is nearly useless to include inline pictures. At least we can still attach them, but it is a major drawback.

Also resize images in the signature please.

Why is this still not a thing since 2017?
It's already hard to leave Google, this kind of missing features are not helping at all! -

While i like the simplicity of my ProtonMail account, I am so disappointed to not be able to resize inline images in my emails.
This is a standard feature on 99% of all email providers and helps keep emails looking professional.
If I had known that this was not available, I would likely have not signed up for a paid account. If this feature is not introduced soon, I will be cancelling my account.
PLEASE make this a feature ASAP!!
Thank you.

This is a important feature, in my opinion. As a software consultant, I send quite a lot screenshot snippets around. It is very annoying to resize all the snippets outside of the email client.

No integration in Mail was bad, but not being able to resize inline images killed ProtonMail for me. I am strongly considering switching to another email provider.

That is a extreme important feature. This could be a reason to change the email provider.

I love protonmail security feature, but there are some shortcomings that make it hard to sell as an alternative to most other email providers..
To be honest, it amazes me that protonmail even tries to position itself as an alternative to small businesses when it is missing such a basic feature as this one.
it is specially amazing since this has been requested in this uservoice channel years ago, multiple times, with hundreds of votes.
Is anyone from protonmail even reading their own uservoice channel anymore??

I just signed up. WOW, I really like ProtonMail.
But DOUBLE WOW. No ability to resize images.
I thought that this would be a standard feature.
Live and learn I guess.Very disappointed. Especially since this is not a new idea.
Even yahoo has a choice between large and small image sizes. The lack of image sizing limits my recommendation for others to use ProtonMail.
Or is this a feature only available in the paid versions?
Of which I can not find any reference to this (free or paid versions) by the ProtonMail TEAM. -

Please add the option to freely adjust the size of in-line images. Especially option to make them smaller.
At the moment when writing an email, the images in-line (among text) only appear in original size which makes them often too big to be readable.

Just yesterday I wanted to send a quick email to my son with a silly picture. I added it inline and it was huge. I couldn't believe it when it wouldn't allow me to resize it. It took 3 tries to edit it outside of the program to make it the right size to look ok in the email.
Took all the fun out of it, not to mention my frustration and loss of time. -

Currently pasted inline images are automatically scaled to fit the width of the email in the composition window, even if they are quite small. When received in Gmail, they go well off the page. I used ProtonMail for my business and I can't be sending clients emails that are such a pain to read.
Users need some control over this. It would be great to be able to click on a corner of the image and rescale it by dragging diagonally. Thank you.

I have the ProtonMail Plus paid subscription. This inability to resize inline images is one of ProtonMail's major drawbacks. As baffling as it is inconvenient. Why do they not provide this feature? It's not as though the technology does not exist. Is this a Swiss thing?

I see others have asked this question, but no answers from Proton. I am thinking of making Proton my default, but I like to post photos in my emails and am disappointed that they cannot be sized down, like gmail allows.

Same issue here. I'm having to resize screenshot in photoshop before attaching them inline to an email.
