Support for Spark Email Client
It would be great to get support for Spark. If you're unfamiliar with Spark by Readdle, you can check it out here: https://sparkmailapp.com/
I have 10+ email accounts that I manage with Spark. It supports every single type of mail service there is, but because of ProtonMail's security and encryption, they are currently not compatible. Gmail, Exchange, iCloud, everything but ProtonMail. Would really like to get that working.

Extremely frustrating as a paid Visionary user that the Bridge still does not support Spark!!!!

I just created a free ProtonMail account and tested it out. I was quite impressed. But I wanted to access via Spark, where I have a number of business emails, and I discovered it isn't supported. I planned to upgrade to a paid account right away and use my personal domain, but now I am reconsidering and will not be able to transfer my personal Gmail email to ProtonMail. Any idea if/when ProtonMail will be made compatible with Spark for IOS/Mac?

Yeah this is the thing I need. It’s got all the features ProtonMail is missing and I could switch from gmail right away without thinking about anything.

Spark needs to keep a copy of the emails on their servers, so it will never happen because it beats having a private email

Come on... when is this going to happen... we want a decent app for our computers and the phone, spark is the best, give it support! Me as a paid user this piss me off, I've thought to go to Gmail just because of this and I'm waiting patiently for protonmail to support it... I think it's time... come on make it happen

Already been said by others here. I prefer the Spark interface and ability to aggregate all my email accounts in one place. I wish Proton was compatible with Spark OR Proton offered a similar service so I didn't have to juggle multiple clients.

Yep, definitely needed, I also use it. To be honest the protonmail iOS app sucks, that's my only complain, I'd love to use Spark

Can you tell me how much longer is the wait for the Protonmail Bridge to support Spark?

I'd also appreciate an update from the ProtonMail team about whether work on this feature has started.

Yes, it's time to add support for the advanced mail clients. Only supporting the plain, vanilla email clients at this point is useless. There are a lot of business features in the newer mail clients that some of us who use email for business really need. Spark has some of these features, but so does Polymail, Canary Mail, Airmail, etc.
Let's make this a top priority, Protonmail. It's time.

I wish if I could manage my Protonmail on Spark, even if some features didn't work on Spark. Spark is great for organize mail/s account/s, then if I will need to encrypt a mail I will do it on Webmail, for example, but I need Spark to get my mails organized.

I’d be very much in favour of being able to check my protonmail email on Spark. All my other email goes to Spark. Please can this be done?

Currently, we don't officially support email clients other than Outlook, Apple Mail and Thunderbird. Other clients may work, but some features may not work properly.
We're working on supporting more email clients in the future (Spark EMail included). Thanks for your patience. -

Could somebody from the team comment, whether they've started working on this or if they plan to start working on this in 2019?

Same thing here, I'd *really* love Spark support...
actually, it's the only thing that keeps me from upgrading and moving all my custom domain email over to protonmail
