    There is no universal way of getting other clients to display your avatar, so even if you add one, it would only work with other Proton users. Google gets away with it because they control a big portion of the market share. You can look into Gravatar in the meantime, or research the BIMI spec.

    proton.ch is used by their staff as their corporate email, it is *highly* unlikely they'll ever make it available

    Only thing I am missing from 1Password is the ssh agent (used by Nova, Transmit and Terminal to log in to servers using my ssh key) and the CLI (by dnscontrol with the API keys on my providers)

    Spark needs to keep a copy of the emails on their servers, so it will never happen because it beats having a private email

    They already do read receipts, but a DSN (delivery status notification) would be great, as it's part of the SMTP protocol already

    Agreed, the SMTP Delivery Status Notification would be awesome. Roundcube implements it as well
