I hope this comes soon! I would love to be able to drip iCloud all together to sync my contacts directly with proton.

good idea contacts and calendars need to sync with iOS and Android devices perhaps encrypted in a separate application, or bridged to sync with native contact / calendar applications

I am confused and I must agree with CDFree comment on 2020-02-22. Is this feature already implemented/available?

It will be amazing if this happens and if you can choose what fields are synced to your phone contacts. I would like to keep my email, addresses and notes within ProtonMail but to sync the name and phone number to my phone contacts will be amazing!

Sir/Ma'am: is this a discussion being had at your HQS? The ability to sync a contact (name & phone number) to my Mobile Phone's contact list would be extraordinarily beneficial. Maintaining PM contacts and a secondary Mobile Phone contacts is a pain-in-the-butt.

Hello Proton Mail,
Please roll out Contact sync feature soon, so that I can switch over to my paid Proton account and start using it.

Hello ProtonMail Team,
We all want here to use your services as an alternative to Google Contact Sync.
Maybe you can base this feature on the open-source EteSync project (https://github.com/etesync)?
This solution works great, but I'd rather prefer to use an all-in-one solution as you could provide. -

Hi Team - any update on this feature?
I understand the value of containing all data inside the single ProtonMail app for iOS. However if I migrate all my contacts to Proton, I will be unable to make phone calls from the Mobile OS itself (ie. using Siri or the native phone app)
The inability to interact with the contacts from the Mobile OS is a major problem.
Any solutions?

I like this but I would like an option to choose what fields are synced with the phone. Personally all I want synced to my phone address book is the name, phone numbers and the birthday.

This is something I really would like. With this I can stop using etesync.

I see it was planned for January 10, 2019. Is it part of the upcoming Protonmail 4?
