Proton is hardcore about their standards, which I respect, but they could provide an IMAP option for users willing to trade some privacy for the convenience of using their own mail app. Many of us can’t switch all our email accounts to Proton, and this hassle of using multiple apps prevents us from making the jump with those we do control.

Having two or more messaging devices is impractical, takes up memory space and consumes battery power.
What's more, APPLE Mail offers a very interesting "VIP" option for reading priority messages. From my point of view, Apple mail is much more complete in terms of options and possibilities. Why reinvent the wheel?

Both iOS Mail and MacOS Mail (native). I need to receive other emails (gmail, yahoo, & outlook) on my Mac, iPad, and iPhone and either reply or forward and change sending account to ProtonMail.com. Your product seems great but I need to selectively update people / businesses to your email over time.

Please, please enable this. I'm sure you are awesome enough to enable the security needed, as you've done with the Bridge for the MacOS Mail app. I'm considering pausing my subscription as I have so much of my workflow already invested into Apple's Mail, Calendar and Reminders app.

Please enable users to configure their Proton email address with the native Apple Mail app on iOS.
I am aware that Proton has their own iOS app and I have been using it for some time now, but the Apple Mail app is much snappier/faster and without some of the quirks that are within the Proton Mail iOS app. The Apple Mail is also secure.
Please allow users to utilize the native Apple Mail app on iOS with their Proton email, I would love to be able to have this option on both my MacBook and iPhone.

I can imagine the issue will partly be that using iOS Mail App will break the encryption chain and expose the data - but should still be able to have something like the Bridge to allow it to access mail on the Proton encrypted servers... It would definitely be a nice bonus to be able to do this!
And like many others I've traditionally used Gmail a lot from the very early days of their existence, and now wish to move the bulk of my activity away from them - this function would enhance being able to do that.
Especially nice addition to that is if you could also divide up your mailbox on Protonmail by having the iOS App only access a subfolder (or 'sub-mailbox') rather than the main inbox (e.g. you could sort certain new mail such as a specific custom domains or specific senders into a subfolder (or a 'sub-mailbox' on Proton mail server; then have iOS App is only set up to access that sub-mailbox rather than the whole master mailbox. That would allow more critical sensitive or private mails to be left in a container where they are only accessed by the official app to maintain full encryption?

Why is it not possible in iOS to receive the mails directly in the mail app? Please integrate this feature as soon as possible. It is not acceptable to maintain your emails in two applications. Also, the Protonmail app flickers.

I switched to ProtonMail because I want to get away from Google services. As a business owner I use Apple devices and am very happy with Apple Mail on Mac and iOS. Additionally the email addresses I have in ProtonMail are not my only emails, so having to have 2 email clients on mobile is clunky and not the best user experience. I would love to be able to check my proton mail with the iOS mail app on either my iPhone or iPad where all my other email accounts live. I understand that maybe this is less secure than the dedicated PM app, but you could just add a check box or something for us to say we understand and it's ok. But would love this feature to improve user experience. Thanks.

The possibility not only to have to use the Protonmail app on ios but also to be flexible and also other services such as To be able to use Apple Mail or Outlook for ios.
So that you can access all your existing email accounts together with one app. -

Enable integration with native iOS apps to allow a more streamlined user experience. Potentially by mimicking functionality of the Bridge desktop application using a device management profile to retain the end to end encryption!

Either allow ProtonMail to integrate with current iOS mail client because that app provides significant enhancements over existing app or integrate some of the features like conversation grouping, scanning capabilities, photos, etc.

I would request the ability to log into multiple protonmail accounts via the android app. This is particularly important now that you organizations and multiple users.

I never use email via a browser anymore. I would switch to ProtonMail as my sole email if I could access it via the Mac OS mail application and on the iPhone Mail application.
