"Reply-To" field for outgoing emails.
"Reply-To" feild is missing in ProtonMail, where we can set an reply-to email address while sending emails. This enables the recipient to reply to that "reply-to" address instead of the one from which the email was sent.

Hi ProtonMail, Is there any chance that someone can give feedback on whether being able to set the reply-to field with a desired email address is even being considered?

I hope I'm wrong as this is the main reason I won't buy protonmail and need to setup my own mail server, but I think you guys are dreaming, and they aren't going to ever implement this. They say why on this reddit post.
Basically they are afraid of abuse and thus being banned. I am surprised however that they still need to worry about abuse when a user is using a custom domain. As I would have thought the domain would just get flagged and not there mail servers. But I guess it depends on how everything is connected.

I too need a 'Reply To' field, as I use my university's forwarding service for my private email address. I'd love to have it forward to my protonmail account (which I currently use for my work email address) as Protonmail is working so much better for me in every other respect than any email service I've used to date. At the moment I'm using Gmail which like a PP I would love to stop using. Except without a Reply To field, I lose the benefit of my university alumni address. Surely it's a simple addition?

C'mon guys, even Gmail has this feature. It allows domain owners with forwarding capabilities to maintain their brand when sharing their email address with clients. It's not just a convenience thing, it's needed to conduct business and maintain a professional image.

This missing feature is what prevents me to do a full switch to protonmail...

Lack of Reply-To: (and From:) header config options keeps me from moving most of my mail to ProtonMail. I use my DNS provider's free e-mail forwarding service to create multiple e-mail addresses for different uses (registrations, promotions, hobbies, etc). I want to move my "important" addresses from gmail to protonmail, but still retain the other forwarded addresses. (Alternatively, I'd move my MX records to protonmail if you also had forwarding for a couple dozen addresses).
I understand Reply-To: will break end-to-end encryption, but the incremental improvement from moving off gmail is all I'm looking for.

This level of de-referencing required for use with my e-mail address redirects.
Would consider going premium if this or send-mail-as function (preferably both) was available.
Please implement a reply-to field, ProtonMail. -

It appears that the Reply-To feature is still not implemented (12/15/2018). This is very disappointing, as almost every other major email service supports "Reply-To"

This should be a very easy feature to implement.
In principle, it could be done in a mail client if using the IMAP bridge. -

This is the only thing missing that's preventing me to migrate to protonmail with my whole family

This is the last feature I need before completely switching over to ProtonMail

This would be extremely useful and help me to consolidate my email addresses into my ProtonMail account.

I would really, really like to see this feature. I like to use a catch-all email address so I know where a sender got my email address from. The moment I reply to anything, they have my actual email address.

I have a Professional account and I'm very surprised this is not included!

This is essential if I want to communicate with a party that's given a <main>+<tag>@protonmail.com address. I want them to reply to the +<tag> address, not the <main> address.

It's been a long time since this was requested. It's the one thing keeping me from switching to ProtonMail.

This is the only thing that is keeping me from switching to protonmail. If I ever have to switch I don't want to have to email all my contacts for an update. The reply-to is a way to never having to do that again.

I have already swittched to protonmail but I don't always want to expose my adress publicly so I use and alternate email provider and forward my email to protonmail. This feature is a must-have !
