Seriously, how come that subfolders are still not available ?
As well as the following basic no-brainer features:
- separating first and last name to sort as one pleases > https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/10343397-ability-to-sort-contacts-by-last-name-first
- ability to drag and drop adresses between to, cc and bcc > https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/18525271-drag-drop-between-to-cc-and-bcc
- ability to add contacts to BCC directly from contacts > https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/11454069-add-to-bcc-from-contacts

Currently migrating a life's worth of email into protonmail professional (paid) account, only to discover that nested folders aren't possible. Everything else is so perfect and meets 100% of my needs, and I'm committed to the move at this point. The lack of nested folders is killing me.

Wow, just realized that this simple feature hasn't been implemented since it's first requests in 2018..
I recently subscribed, and I was surprised to see that nested folders doesn't exists, which is quite annoying for the mail's organisation.. -

Very disappointed to find out ProtonMail doesn't support this. Would love to see some emphasis on User Experience in your applications.

Chiming in to also voice my anticipation for this feature.
Any updates or ETA on this? -
Jeremy commented
I'd like to see an explanation of why this "feature" should be so difficult to implement. I can't believe that adding a few tags to an email has any security implications.

This is such an important feature.
It would be very helpful to post an ETA or have something more than "started".
I am going to try contacting support directly. -

I sure would like to be able to use sub folders, hopefully soon.

Can we get a progress report? I'd love to see this implemented in the web and mobile UIs. I know the back end supports it, but it's still a bummer to not be able to see this when I'm on the go.

This is pretty much the only thing holding me back from switching to Proton as my main email

This is the ONLY thing keeping me from bringing all my email usage to ProtonMail. We have to be able to use sub folders and folders of folders. Colors and labels are ok for a small amount of email but sub folders, at least even ONE LEVEL of subfolders are essential for this to be the BEST there is.

Can we have a progress report from admin and a likely deployment date for this essential feature?
I'm using loads of disorganised labels! -

This cannot be a difficult programming assignment. Why the delay? This feature is fundamental to useful email.

C'mon, guys - I really expected nested / sub folders by now. Still waiting to migrate my other account to protonmail. I cannot understand why this isn't a thing here yet. I've been a user for a year. Pretty please !?!

I fully support this request. I recently noticed that my folder/label structure of using labels to sort my folders is being done away with. I would use a label like ---Topic--- then the related folders sorted under it.

I have been very disappointed to discover this feature didnt exist especially after I subscribed! How do you want to properly organize your work without it. Do what is right and dont wait any longer!
