Now that I have fully migrated away from G Suite to ProtonMail, there is one feature that I would really love to see (that Gmail doesn't even have, to my knowledge).

I would love the ability to archive labels in ProtonMail (e.g. - start a new 3-month project, assign it a label, project is completed, all emails are archived, then archive the label as it isn't needed anymore except for historical reference when searching/viewing archived emails). For example "Q1 2022 Project".

In practice, this would mean "hiding" archived labels from the UI when viewing and interacting with new (unarchived) emails, but "showing" the archived labels when viewing archived emails. So I would see "Q1 2022 Project" under my labels when in my Archive, but not in my Inbox or folders.

I am not proposing any changes to the limit of the number of labels (for clarity, archived labels would still count towards total number of labels, for account types with limitations on # of labels).
