I think as this feature has workaround (using Proton Bridge) we can just use whatever client we want (Thunderbird, Betterbird, Mailspring, Geary, and etc). By doing this, we can let them allocate resources to more critical features.

Could you add a support for an OpenRC init and others (not only a systemd).

Exhausted of seeing Ubuntu (linux) ignored by all companies with the hope this would be different, at least, from service providers like Proton. I changed from gmail to proton expecting from this company an alternative mindset, besides of having more privacy
