Do the Proton devs just blindly click links in emails? How is this not more of a priority?!?

This is a must have from a security perspective. While currently the confirmation popup when clicking URL links in emails technically does allow some visibility, from a usability perspective it would be best to include the display URL on hover capability. Most major mail clients include this functionality, so the majority of Proton user base that care about previewing URLs is likely used to using the hover feature by now.

I can't think of any reason not to show the url on hover. It's the first and upmost security step for links in e-mails.

In these days of scams, how can I ever click on a link in an email without knowing where it is going. I would flag this as a serious security problem/bug.

This is a massive issue for me security wise. I currently have to copy the links in emails to view them. This is a problem because it poses the risk of accidentally opening them, when they could be malicious.
