    Beats me why this got not many more votes.

    I also like to see that option as when I reply or forward a mail myself. But to "hide original message" in mails forwarded to me is just mental torture. 😏

    I can't think of any reason not to show the url on hover. It's the first and upmost security step for links in e-mails.

    You might need to create a reverse alias for the given alias first (I don't know if the are generated automatic) but if you reply, you reply to that reverse alias and hide your real mail address. You will notice if you look closely to the to: address.

    So you might want to close this idea :)
