Folders and nested subfolders
I want to be able to use folders and sub-folders. I use strongbox on iOS which is based on keepass. It allows for as many folders and sub-folders that you want. I use folders to keep my stuff organized. I don't like having all my passwords and whatever in one big long list. I also using keepass as a bookmark manager. I really like the idea of your "vaults", but again I have over like 3000 bookmarks and folders are really needed. Also attachments with built in viewer is also important. I like to convert a lot of websites to PDF and store them as attachments, so I can view them later. Keepass is the only one that can view said items, everyone else you have to download said item to view the attachment.

❌ Folders should be **banished** and systematically replaced by labels and views which are much more flexible and efficient!

IMO, Labels (or Tags, whatever you want to call them) is much more flexible than Folders. Folders only give you one place to put something, where with Labels I can mark something as being related in multiple contexts.

Would be great to have sub-folders within vaults for better organisation

This is deal breaker for me. I tried to import from KeePassXC, where I have a nice folder-based structure, and all my passwords got dumped into one single vault. Even if I create multiple vaults, it is not enough. I really need folders and subfolders for each vault.

Hi I am switching from KeePassXC from all device, two laptops and iPhone, and I really missing something like databases or Vaults and sub-folders. Or databases and Vaults and sub-folders in Vaults. This would be great.

TAGS, Not folders (or both like Proton Mail for those who like the clutter).

I imported about 600 entries and now it's all a mess. Nested subfolders are essential.

I just switched from Bitwarden to Proton Pass.
With 250+ entries, having folders is essential -

I agree! I am coming to Proton Pass from Roboform which currently has this feature.

When will this become available? My vaults are a mess, having between 30 and almost 100 entries each.

Currently, all items in a Proton Pass vault are listed together, which can make it difficult to organize accounts, notes, and credentials for different purposes.
I propose adding a feature that allows users to create folders inside each vault, so they can group related items for better structure and accessibility.
For example:
In a vault named Work, a user could create folders like Servers (containing all server credentials and notes) and Email Accounts (containing email credentials).
In a vault named Gmail, a user could organize items into folders such as Government Services and Gaming Accounts (for services like Steam, Epic, etc.).
This improvement would significantly enhance organization, especially for users with many items and complex workflows.

Absolutely important! In my previous password manager, I had a tree structure with items nested up to three levels deep, and about 20 folders in total. Migrating all of that to Proton Pass is a bit challenging at the moment as it currently has flat structure - but I really want to make the switch.

Definitely this kind of feature would be helpful.

After using Keepass for so long with folders since I can remember, I don't now how this is not a basic feature of ProtonPass. It is so difficult to find something here at times.

Folders and/or tags, please. Best with an option to switch between list view and folder view. At a certain amount of records, the list just gets too long and one does not always know necessarily which word to use for a search (or there are typos so a record won't be found)
