Setting to unfold email chains
I have a lot of forum emails (which is great, I don't want to change this). But if I haven't been keeping up with the discussion, I have to individually tap on each new message in the chain to read it.
Moreover, unexpanded messages are marked as unread, but if I open the chain, then I consider that to have "read" the chain.
It would be great if new messages could be expanded by default. It's a little thing, but it's driving me wild- a setting for this behavior would be much appreciated

I agree that with the "Email threading" ("Conversation view") feature, the absence of the "Expand all" button is puzzling. Perhaps most people won't need it. But I often use my inbox as a knowledge base, and in those situations I need an easy way to read a bunch of threaded messages as a single document consisting of the sequence of messages from the thread participants. This simple option is currently missing because, as Dylan rightly pointed out, I have to click on each message in the thread, no matter how many dozens there are. This makes reading the thread very annoying.
