Grouping options would make navigating and cleaning up the inbox much more efficient. For example, grouping by sender could allow for mass deletion of emails by a particular sender and better visualization of what senders are producing the most spam.

A good example of this feature would be from the email client, Chuck. They have implemented this beautifully.
