More compact density
The current "compact" density option is not very compact when compared with Gmail's. In comparison, Proton Mail's email row height is 46px while Gmail's is 28px. And the folder/label height on proton is 36px while on Gmail it's 20px.
It would be nice if the "compact" option was closer to Gmail's density (or if there were a third option for this).

There is far too much whitespace between FOLDERS AND LABELS in the "Compact" view!
At present, the density of the list of folders and labels in "Compact" is exactly the same as it is in "Comfortable".
This seems like a design oversight, and also means that far too few folders or labels can be created before it becomes necessary to vertically scroll the leftmost column.
Switching to "Compact" should reduce the row height of folders and labels, not just e-mails. One can assume that if someone is switching to compact mode because he has many e-mails, then it is likely that he also has many folders and labels.

I'd like more emails to be visible on the page. The current compact layout seems pretty wide to me.

HUGE bump for this.
Google's most compact size gives me at least a dozen more rows of visibility.
Additionally, and not sure if should be a separate request: please let me keep my icons even when the rows are compacted. I love that visual cue.
