Support for postal code first, followed by the largest to the smallest unit of size for contact addresses in Asia (Japan, Korea, China…)
The order in which addresses in Japan, China and Korea are written down is reversed when compared to the western way: postal code first, followed by the largest to the smallest unit of size.
1) Postal Code
2) Region
3) City
4) Street Address
An option to specify this would be useful, both for displaying in Proton Mail contact pop-up, and the copy-to-clipboard button.
Currently, I need to manually reorder the address parts once copied in my clipboard.
Ideally, this should be an option at the address level, as the person may have multiple addresses (one in an Asian country, but maybe also one in a Western country).
It’s also useful to save the same addresses in two forms: Latin character version in Western order for international uses, and local writing system one for local uses.
A general solution could be to add a new field type "Raw Address" (or other better name), with a single field for the whole address instead of splitting into multiple parts. At this point, the copy-to-clipboard button would simply copy the address as-is to the clipboard. This solution would cater to any address order. (Maybe there are countries out there using yet another order??)
