Support for internationalized domain name, IDN
I request that support is added for IDN custom domains and support to send mail to addresses with internationalized domain names.

Internationalized domain name's first RFC was in 2003 ...
I am hugely disappointed to see it's not supported at least in normal user facing displays. people able to navigate admin screens which require to add a dozen DNS records would probably know about puny code encoding anyway.
a rather sad let down in this attempt to migrate away from gmail -

The protonmail app on Linux does not allow unicode in domain part of email addresses when sending mail.
It does work via the protonbridge.
other mailprovider (gmail, ...) support unicode domain names when sending mail. -

It is very strange that this is not fully supported.
The only way to add my international domain was to use the "xn--" ASCII-compatible (punycode) version of the domain. It looks very strange and confusing to my users when they receive or send mails using this domain. -

This is the only reason we can't fully migrate to proton mail. Would love to see this happening.
