Need to be able to see if someone else is login in to my account. Last login.
There should be a last login in feature so I can see if someone else has logged in to my proton account which I believe has happened.
Added in v2.0. See “Logging” under Security in Settings: https://blog.protonmail.ch/protonmail-beta-v2-0-release-notes/

What do I do if my password isn’t working?

I've locked myself out of my Protonmail by trying too many times the wrong password.
What's the maximum sequential attempts and when can I try again?
I'm getting the error ' too many recent failed attempts'

This is now possible to do. You just have to enable this feature manually.

I strongly DISAGREE. At least if they do this it should be optional. If you can see this data, that a court could subpoena it.

We will be adding the option to see past logins. This will be a optional security feature users can turn on and off.

And maybe something like the User-Agent / IP; could be helpful for identifiying the person or recognizing her.

When someone tries to gain access and fails it would be also very very much appreciated that protonmail could show an alert regarding this. How many times and when were the login attempts and whether the first or second password failed.

I need to know when was the last X times I have accessed my account. This is a must have in order to filter out malicious mailbox accesses. No need to store IP.

If this feature is accepted, it needs to be disabled by default. I guess I'm not the only one who wouldn't like to have my ip address associated with my account...

yes yes what backspace said.. being able to keep track of logins would be awesome and as important as being able not to keep or delete the record if i want to

I'm a bit more paranoid and would love to receive an email (say to my registered non-protonmail account) each time my protonmail account is logged into.
So clearly I would like a log-in log and two factor authentication (say via said email account) -

This is very important need to see current session and enable 2-step verification more like mobile or authentication app.

IP address and timestamp is all you need. You would want to have the option of keeping logs on or not and to wipe clean too.

Many other secure services like Tutanota have this. It should really be easy to set up?
