We are missing a simple but very useful application like Microsoft's To Do.

Automatically detect language for spell check
I write emails using both English and French. My browser has several dictionaries installed, but Proton Mail spell checker doesn't seem to know the difference.
What would be neat is if Proton Mail could recognise the typed language (as for instance MS Outlook does), and do spell check accordingly.

Select all on Android
For the Android app: Add a check box to mark all e-mails at once. I want to have this ability for all folders within the ProtonMail Android app. This is to speed up the process of clearing the mailboxes.
Best regards

Allow to filter emails by alias
The user should be allowed to filter their emails in the mailbox based on each email alias they're having. Like the folders feature, but instead of creating a category, the email alias would be the filter.

Option to add Task & Eisenhower Matrix for Proton Calender
Sometimes you have myriads of things to do. In such case, prioritising becomes essential. Eisenhower Matrix is one such matrix which help ppl to take action on the basis of importance and urgency of the task allotted in the hand. This will require option to logging of task like to-do list and then tag it in one of the quadrants.
Use case
For students, they have multiple assignments going on each week with deadline ranging from months and weeks or even days. Creating events in calendar is not the ideal way to solve for it as you can't see list…

Android parity to iOS app
Hello!
Please speed up the development of your android application. Your iOS app has features that are not in the Android app. It just seems like a shame. Could you please speed up adding anti-tracking features (tracker blocking and picture uploads with IP hiding) to the android app as well? It would also be desirable to add the toolbar customization feature as well. Please note that all these features are already available in iOS application, while there are practically no innovations in Android application. This is just a shame and shame for such a huge company.

Allow URIs to display as hyperlinks in event description
As a Proton Calendar user i should be able to put a URI to an external application in my calendar description and it display as a link so that i myself, as well as others, can quickly reference data pertaining to the meeting event.
Not just URLs to websites; but for someone who uses obsidian notes, i was surprised when i started dropping URIs into appointments and they did not turn into links. Simple hyperlink support would make it much easier for folks using external notes and other applications to quicky jump form calendar to event related notes.

Embed calendars in web apps / publicly online
It would be great if Proton calendars could be embedded publicly in web apps. Google Calendar has obviously been able to do this for many years, and for that reason, as a web developer, I've always directed clients to use Google Calendar for displaying their organization's events. But I hate Google and have stopped using and recommending them, which doesn't leave the web world with many options calendar-wise.

Add the ‘Self Destruct’ feature to the mobile apps
This feature is currently available on the desktop app and online. However, it’s not currently available via the mobile apps.

Possibility to rename an existing label
I am new to the Proton community and am already enjoying this. Speaking about calendar, as I know, there is currently no way to rename an existing label. This would be really nice as it allows us to rename a label as we wish

Improve Search
Can I really not search for messages sent by or received from someone?
Honestly, search is so weak, the only way to do it is use Bridge and a client like Thunderbird with a decent search engine. Then why use the webmail client at all? Also, content search is frankly useless as the content repeatedly disappears and needs another glacial re-indexing. I know there's a bandwidth overhead with this, but some of us are paying for just that!100 votes -
Ability to use alias phone numbers and attach them to alias email addresses
Please create the option to have alias phone numbers in addition to alias email addresses and have them connected to each other if the user wants to.
So for example, if you have 15 email aliases each assigned to a separate website login, then also have the option to add alias phone numbers that can be attached to the alias email addresses. The phone numbers could be a VoIP number and can be used for text, calls, and 2FA and keep them on the Proton browser/email app so the user can check them anytime.

arch compatiblity - VPN and Calendar
I would like to see ProtonVPN and Proton Calendar for Arch Linux. I am not too comfortable with tuning/modding Linux, so i would like it to be simple to install, update and maintain.

Use SimpleLogin aliases in Proton Calendar
I have been using SimpleLogin aliases with a custom domain and forwarding those emails to Proton Mail, which has been working fantastically. The only downside is that I cannot use these aliases for calendar events, which is a major usability issue. In order to actually use Proton Calendar I would need to expose my actual email address which defeats the purpose of using SimpleLogin in the first place. I would love to be able to have Proton Calendar integrate with SimpleLogin aliases.

Fantastical Integration
Due to work needs, we cannot give up Google and Outlook. If your services are more easily accessible, this will encourage more users to join Proton Calendar.
Many Mac users will choose Fantastical. It is recommended to integrate your service into well-known calendar apps, such as Fantastical and Readdle Calendar.36 votes -
Multiple Inboxes
The only feature that keep me on gmail vs. protonmail is the multiple inbox organization (not related to different addresses - underlying for a new post). The creation of multiple inboxes is extremely powerful to implement "Getting things done"-like methodology (ex.: https://dansilvestre.com/gtd-gmail/) and improve significantly my productivity.
I am looking forward for this feature in Protonmail.38 votes -
Private flag in calendar
My wife sends some invitations from her proton calendar to her work calendar which is based on exchange. She always has to edit these events in work calendar afterwards and set the "private" flag, so that the the details are not visible to colleagues.
We would need a private flag for events in calendar that can be set, so that it is recognized from exchange and other systems that the invitation/events hast to be set to private state and thus details are not visible in the foreign system. Setting this flag should also work via mobile app.27 votes -
Support UnifiedPush for android notifications
I don't have google services on my phone and having every app permanently connected checking for new messages is detrimental to battery life. UnifiedPush is the open alternative to Google Cloud Messaging: https://unifiedpush.org
