Auto notify (similar to auto forward)
For certain incoming emails (rule "if from = ..."), offer the option to notify another email. Just "you have email in proton". Not forward the whole email as auto-forward does.
I have two PM accounts, and I always get such brief notification in my primary account when there's new mail in my secondary account. I've looked and can't find where I set that up.
I occasionally send personal messages to family that I'd rather not share with the googleverse. One person still uses gmail, and I've suggested that they get a free PM account.

Implement the "Choose" function
In the Identity and addresses/Display name and signature/E-mail address section, implement the "choose" function, so as to force the choice of the address from which to send the e-mail, avoiding sending errors.

Preview filter results
I have several sieve filters, and it can be difficult to figure out what's working or not other than to see if the desired result occurred. This processing can be slow, and it can be difficult to distinguish between something not working and something not having happened yet.
I would like the ability to show test what a sieve filter would match.
Gmail's filters are able to easily do this because its search and filter languages are the same. Protonmail's is not. Perhaps they should be unified so we could test filter conditionals based on the sieve query language?

Auto reply per alias
It should be possible to define automatic responses separately for each alias address.

Relatively Minor But Important Improvmts. To Proton Mail
As it says in the title, just some important and relatively minor improvements to Mail (both web and desktop app), in no particular order.
Where messages are grouped as conversation, the ability to permanently delete single messages, whether sent or received.
In message list view, instead of the page indication - e.g., '1/3' - the numbers of the messages displayed currently, e.g., '51-100/245'.
Also in message list view, instead of the day/date of messages or conversations, date and time - e.g., '24/06/10 14:56' - except for 'Today' just time additionally.

Bridgeless integration with other mail clients
If you want people to switch from gmail you need to offer a better workaround than a bridge application. Maybe you could make a plugin that works with outlook and thunderbird? I'm not going to switch to a vendor that offers me less control of my data!

Make setting Custom Notifications quicker
Remove the number "15" from the custom notification dialog in the Android calendar app.
It is annoying to have to delete it every time I want to create a custom reminder.
If you believe "15 minutes" is a time many people want to choose, then add it to the preset options.

Stop messing up my calendar events
Editing the start date/time of a calendar event should not change the end date/time without my input.
It is very annoying to have to change it back every time, because you think you know better what I want than I do. And it is frustrating when I don't notice you did that and then find out later my calendar event is wrong, because I enter an event once and then rely on it being correct.
The app should do what I tell it to do, nothing more and nothing less.

Restore Deleted Items From Trash to Where They Were Deleted From
I accidentally deleted my entire inbox today, thinking it was spam. I was unable to cancel the operation so after some time I was hoping to be able to just restore my messages from trash. I needed to move files from trash, to archive, and then from archive to inbox. I may have missed the option in my haste, but I did not see a restore option, and think that would be highly valuable if it does not already exist.

Auto forwarded emails should be in the sent email folder of the sender
Auto forwarded messages have an additional header, but this doesn't help the sender at all to confirm that an email was actually forwarded. Most senders like me are second guessing that emails are truly forwarding and it would be nice if the receipt of the sent email is listed instead of always confirming with the recipient that they received the email.

Set and remember desktop app update configuration (auto vs manual)
Please create an app setting that Remembers my choice to EITHER auto update without my confirmation OR to check manually and update later. Also please have the setting ask and remember whether or not I want a desktop icon. Many people like a mass of desktop icons, but many don't.

Please make it possible to use landscape mode for typing on the android app. This used to be a feature but is no longer. I saw this request has already been made when I searched on my phone, but cannot find it anymore, so I'm adding it as a new request.

Monitoring for ProtonMail onion service
The ProtonMail onion service is a great resource to have. However occasionally I am unable to connect to it and instead receive an error of 'Onionsite not found', a timeout or similar despite requesting a new identity in Tor Browser which implies it is having an outage. In those cases the clearnet version of ProtonMail is functional and status.proton.me does not show any issues.
Guessing the status page infrastructure does not monitor the onion service? This should be rectified.

Avant on pouvait depuis protonpass sur protonmail crééer autant d'alias que l'on voulait sur simplelogin.
Du jour au lendemain ce n'est plus possible.

Ou alors ajouter cette option pour 1,- par mois aux utilisateurs Protonmail plus!

Push notificarions
It is curious, to say the least, that you who defend email privacy so much, do not allow push notifications on android if google services are not installed.
It is certainly known that google reads push notifications from your application (and all the others), and the fact that your application requires that Google is present, gives food for thought.
They must understand that more and more of us do not use these services, and the fact that this is so, only leads to think of some collusion between Protonmail and Google.

expiration
I'm not using encryption on Protonmail and upsettingly have to buy a Egress because I need the expired sent emails to still be visible to me (and potentially resent when prompted by my clients).
it would be great if Protonmail could store the expired sent emails in a folder instead of deleting them automatically after only 28days!

Easy switch, tried hate it! i like to have everything organised, in separate folders, so please is it possible when using easy switch to have option Create folder for this account and then all emails will show in this folder and subfolders not in general inbox? PLEASE!!!

The "save" link at the top of the screen is less prominent than the bright "Delete Folder" CTA at the bottom.On selecting the "Delete Folder" button the folder was deleted without an "are you sure" screen.
Suggestion(s) Make the update button more prominent and add an "are you sure" screen to the delete button

Full Context search improvements
I prefer to use the web-interface to proton mail rather than Bridge...
The Full Context search is a great option, but it has a few notable issues in my opinion, especially with larger mailboxes.In my case the download takes quite a while, and if I clear the browser cache this has to be re-done time again. Same goes for multiple devices, etc...
I suggest adding a setting option to the full-context search to let me define the scope of the index by: Number of days (or date) and the folders I want to include.

Make App Accessiblitly Features Work
The Mail App accessibility settings to do not appear to work on Linux, Debian: (a) the window does not fit on the screen and cannot be reduced; (b) font size settings (very large) and scroll bars are lost when switching to Inbox.
