Dynamic filter creation
It would be extremely convenient to be able to automatically add an email address to an existing filter as follows:
- User has some folders setup already
- User drags a new email from friend@somewhere.com into folder "friends"
- Small dialog pops up to ask if you would like to add this email address to the filter(s) that send to the "friends" folder.
To make this simpler, you could have a default filter per folder, and this dialog would simply add the dragged email's address to that filter. It would then be simpler to check if this email is already part of the…

Allow emails to be sent to your .onion adress
While being able to login via onion services is great, making it possible to send emails to example@protonirockerxow.onion, like what riseup allows, would reduce the amount of leak-able metadata.

move the "All Mail" folder far away from the Trash folder
Please (For God's sake) move the "ALL MAIL" folder far away from the TRASH folder! You have it directly underneath the Trash folder and I've accidentally emptied/deleted "all mail" twice now thinking I was emptying my Trash folder. So now I all my inbox mail is permanently gone.

Expiring emails for particular folders
I don't think this exists currently... It would be great to have an ability to customise a specific folder to archive or delete emails automatically after a time period. For example, a folder for Newsletters which are interesting enough to not delete immediately, so I pop them in a Newsletters folder, but any email in that specific folder, I can get them to automatically be deleted if they're older than a year old.
I keep most emails around forever, as some obscure emails from eons past still end up being useful in the future somehow. So I don't want this…

Apply custom filters in Spam.
Custom Filters don't work when the email is already in spam folder.
Example: Set a filter to move all emails from test@test.com into the trash but since it has already been moved to the Spam folder, I'd have to whitelist it first in order to apply filters to it. This is counterproductive and generally Custom Filters should work across all folders, no matter what.

"Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email."
Please allow us to turn off the Proton signature in free accounts. It forces users to upgrade to a paid account just to eliminate the signature..This is unfortunate and detracts from an otherwise good email service.

Use SMTP from a script (e.g. PHP)
As a Web developer, I'd like to send emails from an address on my domain that I configured on ProntonMail. Other services make this possible by allowing you connecting to their server using the SMT protocol, but that's not possible with Proton because of the end-to-end encryption that makes the Bridge necessary.
It would be nice to have a server/command-line version of the Bridge that makes it possible to send email with Proton from PHP/Perl/Python/Whatever languages. Note that there is no real need to support any scripting language at all, as they generally already provide SMTP support just like Thunderbird…10 votes -
Default reply via appropriate address
Emails to all of my addresses arrive at one inbox, and that is okay with me. However, when I REPLY to an email, my reply shows the DEFAULT (main) email for my account. Can the program be set up to reply via the PROXY email address the original was sent to? Thanks!

add a send button at the top of 'compose mail'
Could you add a second send button to the top of my mail draft?
If not: can you move the send button from the right bottom corner to the left bottom corner? Or let me change the position via settings?
Thank you.

Sieve: support Regex extension
I am subscribed to many, many mailing lists. When self-hosting my email I had a nifty sieve filter that used the Regex extension to automatically extract the name of the mailing list from the emails and file them into a different folder for each list.

Option to show the mail address, not the display name, nickname
A toggle option to display the real mail address of sender in mail box:
Exemple it show the sender is: "security@paypol.pl" instead of "Paypal Account Security" display name, directly in the inbox.
This is the best feature to counter SPAM, Phishing and Scam.
I had this feature with a plug-in in Thunderbird.

Make the column widths adjustable.
When in Column layout, please make the column widths adjustable. I don't need the sidebar and message to be as wide as they are and I do need the message text area to be wider because text is often cut off.

2 users 1 domain.
Currently use google G Suite grandfathered in from years ago for free. I'd go paid with protonmail but I see the cost of $16 for 2 domains + 2 users as excessive and would like to see the PLUS plan offer a drop down to pay a little extra to add another user.
This would get me to switch from free to a paid service.
