Separate Calendar notification window for desktop app
Add a Outlook-like calendar notification stand-alone window for the desktop app. The standard Windows notification bar get way too crowded, and I need a persistent dedicated notification window to keep them up front and in view.

Offline access for desktop apps
Allow the desktop app to download a copy of the email to read and work offline (read any and all inbox email, delete, write and send emails), which will be queued for syncing whenever online. Same for calendar events.

See all events from a calendar
I got multiple "My calendars", and I'd like for a way to view all events from one of them.
It'd also be fine to just be able to do a search, like: "calendar:anniversaries"

Integrate calendar into email all in one place
I would like to view my calendar on the same screen as my email.
Similar to how Outlook does it would be perfect. Calendar on the right side, email on the left/center.2 votes -
Highlight starred mails
When you add a star to your mail, it should change the background colour in the list of mails.
It should also be possible to arrange your mails so that the starred mails are on top of the list (sorted by date), and regular mails are at the bottom (also sorted by date).This would highlight the starred mails. I am not a fan of the starred mails mixed in between regular mails.

Allow merging existing free account on a paid account
Use case : You have 2 existing accounts : 1 with paid plan and 1 free, and you transform the free account to an alias of the paid account (and existing mails on free account are merged to mailbox of paid account).

Encrypted contact email address
Currently , in contact information, email addresses are not encrypted. Even if several email addresses are saved, they are all non-encrypted.
Encrypted email addresses in addition to non-encrypted ones would be nice to have. This way we could choose between encrypted and non-encrypted email addresses and the corresponding functionalities.6 votes -
Ability to copy paste and edit calendar events on Android devices
I want to be able to copy paste an event (e.g.: Doctor appointment) to a different date and create a new event with modifications.

Visual indicator in calendar to distinguish meeting from event
I wish I could identify very easily, by looking at my day or my week in the calendar, which elements are meetings (with other people invited basically) and which are events or tasks I added myself to perform a specific action or project (therefore without anyother people invited).
This could also work with the invitation I receive when I acknowledge to participate.
There could be a small icon added to the entry when it is a meeting (for instance a group of people next to the time of the event : 👪).5 votes -

Ability to send-mail-as a different (non-proton) address via SMTP. Similar to what gmail has. This would encourage migration over from google for users such as me that cannot completely retire a google account (this relates to another suggestion I posted about creating a 3rd party login service).

Durchwischen sollte man auch in die Optionen gelangen können, Mail – Nachrichten zurückzustellen. Das ist derzeit umständlich mit dem tippen über verschiedene Punkte. Sollte so einfach sein wie das wischen zum Löschen oder das wischen zum archivieren.

forward passmail alias to any of my protonmail alias
At the moment I seem to be able to only forward a passmail alias to the protonmail address I subscribed with. In order to better organize my passmail alias (categorize and different notification rules) I would like to be able to forward a passmail alias to any of my protonmail alias.

Implement push IMAP (instant email notification)
The fetch way of retrieving emails is ancient compared to modern communication methods alternatives. Google, Yahoo! and others are using their own protocol but Push IMAP exists (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Push-IMAP).
Imagine you are a new user switching from Google to Proton, you are used to instant notifications on emails arrivals, useful for magic codes for example, it’s a huge downgrade coming to Proton Mail.

Create a Not Spam option
It would be nice if there was an option to mark an email as "not spam" after it has been filtered to the Spam folder ensuring it is directed to the Inbox for future emails.

Shorten name of Calendar to Proton Cal to clean up iPhone home screen
Superficial I know, but the long name just looks messy on the iPhone home screen underneath the app the letter get bunched up comparing to other apps.
Better to shorten to something like Proton Cal so it looks clean
