Android override GPS Location
On Android, as a complement to the VPN it will be spectacular to have an enhacement where the GPS gets override and match the location of VPN location (as an enabled option).
Ex. apps will think GSP location is same as the VPN location.

This is a feature that Windscribe vpn has and I agree that Proton should have it aswell.

This is critical as it is very easy for apps to find out real location via JavaScript. Using an external app for GPS spoofing is not an adequate solution as still it would show another location than VPN server. This issue compromises the promise of online privacy.
Root is not necessary for this as this option is available in Android developer settings.
It's kind of pointless to use a VPN if apps or websites could easily find out your real location via JavaScript and - even worse - therefore can see that a VPN is used. -

It's a good feature that Surfshark have but in this moment I don't use this feature because I don't need to use but in the future maybe it's neccesary and useful!

yeah i think this makes sense. because GSP location is always different from VPN location. I noticed this on https://www.whereami.place/ and it creeps me out.

Would Proton make phones rooted for better security? Hmmm?

that would only work properly on a rooted device, and theres plenty of location spoofing apps already available
