Reverse Split Tunneling (Browser ext)
Add the ability to choose which websites DO use the VPN (not just which websites should be excluded from the VPN tunnel).

I'm confused by how inconsistent the split tunneling feature is. I can't seem to set hostnames in the Windows app, but I can EXCLUDE in the browser extension?
It seems sensible to me that split tunneling should support hostname inclusion or exclusion in both the app and extension

This would be really useful to me as I only want to VPN specific sites where I am getting blocked / restricted by the UK government

This would be super helpful. So many sites these days just don't work with a VPN that there are only a handful of sites where I would want to enable the VPN.

This would be very useful now if you only want to use this on 1-2 sites. Having to exclude every single website is difficult, especially in the age of CDNs, APIs and many other domains per website. I'm sure many people are coming in relation to the recent regulations and want to use the VPN for just a couple websites.

Countries are starting to roll out nanny laws over the coming years, so this would be good if you only want to proxy social media sites.

Currently trying out Proton VPN for a month coming from a Nord VPN subscription, this would be a great feature to make me favor Proton VPN.

There are only a handful of sites I want to have use the VPN, so this would save a TON of work.

Split-tunneling weither on desktop or mobile is currently only designed to be an allowlisting/inclusion in the VPN, but there's enough use cases where the user would like the vice-versa, blocklisting/exclusion from VPN (e.g. maintaining vpn usage on all connections but this one app/website that blocks proton IPs or that out of security requires a definitive IP)

+1, it would be great to only have it activated on specified domains.

Would also like to see this. Just started using the extension today hoping it was an option, disappointed to see it isn't.

I would really appreciate this feature. I only need to use the VPN extension for a single website for geo reasons and it's tedious to add each website to the exclusion list.

This is for MacOS for me. I work from home. I access IP-restricted sites in my browser and via the terminal. So I actually need more than a browser extension. It needs to be native to the VPN. For me I want the VPN engaged for everything except a short list of specific IPs / URL domains. (Not sure if that's allow- or block-list!)

The browser extension allows split tunneling, but only by allowing you disable sites.
I would like an option to have the VPN off by default, but only active on certain sites. -

and lets stick to correct language and call it allow- and blocklist instead ;)

Allow both exclusion and inclusion rules enabled at the same time in split tunneling.
For example to allow limiting the VPN to specific applications (eg. browser) while excluding specific IPs that don't do well with VPN.
