Port forwarding for dedicated game servers
Ability to keep Ports open along with the ability if using wireguard on a router or vpn router ability to tell protonvpn too open ports range or single port forwarding and keep the ports open for dedicated game servers that way you can host game servers without worrying about exposing main ip or dns

This would be a really useful feature for people running dedicated game servers at home. Keeping the server accessible while hiding the main IP would make WireGuard and port forwarding much more practical. Persistent port ranges would be especially helpful for multiplayer servers that need reliable connections.

interestingi want this too for hosting a small valheim server behind my router, and the current “random port that changes” setup is a pain to keep whitelisted. a stable port range with wireguard on the router would make proton vpn way more viable for dedicated servers without leaking home ip. also, can we not turn feature threads into link drops; i saw stuff like https://dealornodeal.org/ and https://livedealerindia.com/ and https://icefishingonline.org/ pasted around and it just distracts from the networking discussion. proton should at least document whether persistent forwarding is impossible due to shared ips or just not prioritized yet.

This is exactly what self-hosters need, proper port forwarding through WireGuard without exposing the main IP. ProtonVPN supporting persistent port ranges for dedicated game servers would solve the security vs accessibility trade-off nicely. Hope they're listening.
