this idea could be fun if it stays firmly in “training mode” and never asks for real credentials, even indirectly. i’d want a clear separation between gameplay secrets and anything tied to my actual proton account, plus an obvious warning screen each time. i’ve seen too many forum threads derailed by random game links such as https://wonderlandluckyball.org/, https://maradonarun.com/ and https://sweetbonanza1xbet.com/, which makes people extra suspicious of anything “gameified” around security. if proton ever did this, open-sourcing the client and having a built-in verifier for “these are dummy keys” would calm a lot of that fear.

interestingi want this too for hosting a small valheim server behind my router, and the current “random port that changes” setup is a pain to keep whitelisted. a stable port range with wireguard on the router would make proton vpn way more viable for dedicated servers without leaking home ip. also, can we not turn feature threads into link drops; i saw stuff like https://dealornodeal.org/ and https://livedealerindia.com/ and https://icefishingonline.org/ pasted around and it just distracts from the networking discussion. proton should at least document whether persistent forwarding is impossible due to shared ips or just not prioritized yet.
