New country on Proton, Please!
Hi Proton Team,
I am writing to suggest a new server location for Proton VPN. Since you have recently expanded the network massily to 145 countries—including heavily restricted regions like Turkmenistan—it would be an incredible milestone to add North Korea (Pyongyang) to the list.
I completely understand that placing a physical server inside North Korea is impossible due to geopolitical and security risks. However, this could be successfully implemented using Proton's "Smart Routing" technology, hosting virtual servers in a secure nearby location (like Tokyo or Singapore) while providing a North Korean IP address.
Adding this rare geolocation would showcase Proton's advanced routing capabilities and position the service as the ultimate leader in global coverage, directly competing with legacy networks like HMA that became famous for offering this specific location.
Thank you for your continuous work on internet freedom and network expansion!
Best regards.
