  2. Dedicated IP Address tied to Secure Core

    I would really love to have the ability to purchase a dedicated IP Address within ProtonVPN. This would eliminate blocking by some financial institutions and steaming services who block known multi-user ip addresses.

    If the possibility exist to link the dedicated ip address (in the United States) to the secure core function would be outstanding.

    A reasonable monthly charge (in addition to the regular monthly subscription fee) would be well worth the additional feature.

  3. Support connecting over http/socks5/Tor bridges

    Although ProtonVPN may not directly provide bridges, it would be convenient for users living in places with strong internet censorship to have ProtonVPN over their censorship circumvention proxies, which might not be secure. Routing traffic through those insecure proxies to ProtonVPN will provide their accessibility to the outside internet securely.

    Usually, Shadowsocks/V2Ray/Clash, the famous censorship circumvention tools, provide http/socks5 proxies locally. ProtonVPN could connect to the Internet over them.

  5. Latency display

    When you click on a country, the list of servers for that country appears. The only thing missing is the latency you are getting from that server. For example, I click Estonia, I see all the Estonian servers. Right next to each Estonian server, there would be a number telling you what ping you're getting, like 150ms. I think this feature would be a useful one to add because choosing a faster connection would be easier if you could see the latency. Also, with this ping, for the box that shows your internet speed over a time period of 60…

  6. Low carbon switch

    Similar to the Secure Core switch, a Low carbon switch that would allow to filter VPN servers to restrict the selection to countries where power generation is less carbon-intensive. The list of countries could be either derived of yearly averaged, or refreshed real-time based on e.g. electricitymap data.

  7. Dynamic IP address

    IP addresses of servers should be changed on daily basis as it will not get detected as a "VPN IP Address" by sites who block internet connections when they see shared IP address.

  8. Allow adding multiple users to an VPN account

    Please make an option to add other users on the same network for the VPN service.

    My family wants to use VPN at home but I don't want give each person my username and password to log into the ProtonVPN software. I'd rather have a simple family option where you can assign permission to an extra person or two to the same account, at least per network.

    Hell, I'd even pay a teensy bit extra too for that feature as I think it's a perfectly reasonable request.

  9. iOS 14 Home Screen Widget

    It would be great to be able to add a Widget to the home screen on iOS that includes:
    - connection status (as an easily visible background color would be great)
    - quick-connect buttons if disconnected (to profiles and/or recently connected servers)
    - a disconnect toggle (can it include a confirm notification?)

  10. Disconnect VPN for timed period

    My default is to leave ProtonVPN connected. If I disconnect it, its usually for a specific task, like trying to resolve zoom glitches, accessing a site that isn't available with the VPN on, or trying to speed up a large file download. 99% of the time I do not remember to turn ProtonVPN back on after the task is complete, and I discover its off 1/2 - 1 week later. I would love the ability to turn off ProtonVPN for a set time period: 1/6/12/24 hours etc and then have it resume the fastest connection possible.

  12. Netshiled status in Linux Cli

    Hi,
    It would be nice that when we use the command pvpn s to get the status on the connection, that the status of netshield was also available.
    We have the protocole UDP/TCP, Kill switch status, but not the netshield.
    Thanks a lot.

  13. Add "configuration files" bundles for Plus/Tor/P2P

    I need to ensure i'm always connected on a "Plus" server, (for geo restrictions). For now i have to set one "Plus" server from "Standard server configs" list.

    Currently, 4 lists only:
    * Country configs, it will automatically pick-up a random server in your chosen country, whatever its type (Free, Plus, TOR, P2P, ..)
    * Secure Core configs
    * Free server configs
    * Standard server configs (you choose an exact server)

    Replaced by (all below are still sorted by country)
    * Any (former "Country configs")
    * Specific-server configs (former "Standard server configs")
    * Secure Core configs (no change)
    * Free…

  14. Proton VPN: Add regional DNS resolvers to reduce latency outside Europe

    Many Proton VPN users outside of Europe (e.g. in Australia, New Zealand, SE Asia, and South America) experience slow DNS resolution when using Proton DNS via VPN — especially on mobile apps like Proton Mail, which rely on many secure subdomains.

    Currently, Proton DNS resolvers appear to be hosted in Switzerland (or nearby), which introduces noticeable latency for users on the other side of the globe — even when connected to local VPN servers like Melbourne or Sydney.

    Suggestion: Deploy regional Proton DNS resolvers or mirrors in long-latency zones like:

    Australia (Melbourne, Sydney)

    South America (e.g. São Paulo)

    SE Asia
