Linux Client
Proton Drive really needs the ability to sync desktop files automatically. This post focuses on a Linux client for Proton Drive.

It is hard to use the drive effectively in Linux without this. Please prioritize this.

Drive is useless to me and my family members (Family sub) without Linux desktop sync. Please prioritize this.

I don't use Proton Drive more often because I can't automatically sync from my Linux desktop.

I would love to switch to Proton Drive, but I am not able to until there is a Client for Linux (specifically Ubuntu).

One of the reasons I use Proton services more and more is because of their cross-platform privacy policies...Linux is the only one I'm missing.

A Linux sync client is becoming more important to me lately. Like others, I use Nextcloud for a lot of files but very few other features, but it's LAN-only. I'm only using Proton Drive for a tiny subset of files right now but would use it a LOT more, justifying the cost, with a Linux sync client!! I really hope this is in the works or at least on the road map!

Not using Proton Drive currently because there isn't a Linux client to sync my data. Please release one Proton!

Especially for paying members this functionality for Linux user is a must. The fact that Windows is first (f*** Windows) shows a shift towards monetary gain instead of true privacy and usability.

If I could use 100 votes on this I would.

I'm stunned this isn't already implemented. CLI should have been there at the bare minimum, this is critical to have for everyone seriously invested into Proton's mission.
Please please please get this sorted out Proton team, I've already convinced multiple people to get onto your service and without this it would be an absolute tragedy.

How can a company that is privacy oriented not focus on Linux :(
Yes please do ! -

I use NextCloud for my file storage, calendar, and contacts among other things, but now that I am using ProtonMail and ProtonPass, I think the next step should be Proton Drive that is integrated into file managers such as Dolphin, Nemo, and Nautilus.

As Linux is (let's be pragmatic) generally used by kind of power-users, i think a CLI would be enough as a start. At least, to me, it would be really enjoyable. If you don't think you'll be able to release a GUI before a while, let's offer us a CLI, pleeeeaaaaase!!!

The convenience of such feature would definitely justify paying for it. Make it so!

I am pretty sure that when privacy is concerned (which is the focus of protonmail, I would assume) Linux support is a must.
