Backup a network drive
When I attempt to use the Proton Drive Windows app, it requests that I select a folder for automatic backup to Proton Drive. However, it will not allow me to select a network drive.

Even with a caveat that avoids write inconsistencies, this would be an awesome feature to have. It would be awesome to back network drives up in ProtonDrive. I don't have much trust on other vendors.

I think this working in past versions was a bug and not a feature. If another user on the shared drive makes changes, there’s no way from a kernel level for Proton Drive client to pick that up, and so it creates reliability concerns.

Jumping in to say this is a super important feature to me. I have a couple critical folders stored on my local NAS that I also want backed up to Proton Drive.

I totally agree with you David. It is really necessary to be able to include LAN Drive folders in sync operations with Proton Drive.
And indeed it was possible in a previous version of the Windows Proton Drive application. I currently have a folder from my NAS synced to Proton Drive. Since the last few updates, it is not possible to add "Sync folders from network drives...".This feature we do need back again 👍
