I am a paid user and it is so hard to backup on proton, there is no reason why proton has not upgraded their drive. i should be able to do everything that Next-cloud offers and more. My phone and any of my multiple linux distribution PC should be able to sync..... I SAID SYNC(not upload), with my devices running any software. also Proton needs to huge upgrade on security due the fact that my drive was hacked or the upload failed but i swear i have uploaded it multiple times and it took days to finish about 56gb and data then the data was somehow deleted...... and I AM A PAID USER. i am probably going to switch to skiff or nextcloud if proton doesn't do something soon and quick. they need to seriously revamp their services. every email needs to be thoroughly checked for maleware and phishing attempts because i have been sent multiple phishing attempts that i had to unfortunately learn the hard way that they were hackers phishing. this is a big issue for me and i hate google and i have been a proton user for years and i recently switched to linux and i was hoping that it would be able to sync my drive with my laptop or there was a program written in linux to do that...... well there is apps to backup my laptop but it just doesnt back up with proton, also proton developers need to also add the feature to the device sync that scans every file for malware as it is being uploaded into the drive. somehow i was sharing proton drive links that proton provided me i double checked and one of my clients informed me that the file in the links i was sending him was infected with a virus or malware i have no idea how that happened and it scared the living **** out of me and on top of that a large file was deleted from my drive.... well i wouldnt say deleted it magically disappeared.... i immediately changed all my passwords and did a clean install of arch linux on my main hard drive of my Asus G533z laptop and i am so upset... it would also be nice to have a proton drive (cloud) that could quickly store and hold my PC games so that i can quickly access them for gameplay, also when my apple id gets compromised they have complete access to my proton drive.... it maybe how the hacker deleted my files, i believe that these hackers were employees of the big FEDUSA because of what i had stored in those files were instructions and recipes for certain explosive chemicals sort of like the Anarchist cookbook. im very very upset and frustrated with proton almost to the point of switching services. theres no reason why apple should have any access to my drive and also there is no reason why the developers of Proton arent listening to their customers..... but the VPN is great and that is the main reason i pay for proton. however i am very very very in need of syncing all of my devices wiith my proton drive and it shouldnt matter if it is APPLE LINUX OR WINDOWS.... i am very hopeful that proton devs will take these request seiously. AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ATTENTION PROTON DEVELOPERS DISASSOCIATE WITH APPLE COMPLETELY AND DO NOT ALLOW THE SYNC OF DRIVE AND MAIL WITH APPLE SERVICES FORCE PEOPLE TO DOWNLOAD A PROTON APPLICATION OR FIGURE OUT A WAY TO KEEP MY ACCOUNTS SECURE WHEN MY APPLE ID IS COMPROMISED!!!!
