Memories feature
One part of Google Photos that I will miss is the "Memories" feature. Not the creepy cloud-based processing, but just the notification to scroll through some of my old photos.
It doesn't have to be fancy, and you can play the same cheesy jingle each time!
(Unless there's a workaround and I can use another app that can safely read local photos while Proton Drive backs them up securely?)

This is my biggest feature request. Much simpler than google, all i want is a notification on my phone of "One year ago", " two years ago" ... ect. Or on this day in history and has a slide show i can flip through of photos that were taken on that date. I use this feature in google to remember when I planted things in the garden or harvested them, or when flowers bloomed. Or when I finished that project. I don't need proton drive looking at the photos and creating galleries for me of photos it thinks should go together. Just show me the picture from the same day the previous years.
